What is Radiesse?
Radiesse is a biostimulating filler and skin treatment that has been used in Aesthetic Medicine for over 20 years. We love Radiesse as it is extremely versatile – it not only provides instant and long-lasting volume, but it also stimulates natural collagen production over time. This results in improvements in skin quality, texture and firmness. The treatment is suitable for the face, neck, décolletage and back of the hands.
How does Radiesse work?
Radiesse is composed of calcium hydroxapatite microspheres which provide instant lift to areas with volume loss. These microspheres also act as a scaffold for your cells to produce new collagen over time. Therefore you will see both immediate and long-term benefits. Radiesse can also be diluted to varying degrees and this allows us to provide a purely biostimulating treatment, without adding any volume.
What is involved?
Our practitioners will completely tailor your treatment to suit your concerns and your skin, and often a combination approach is best. After the skin is disinfected, the Radiesse will be introduced to the skin or areas of volume loss using a blunt cannula. There are many ways the practitioner will adapt the treatment to maintain your comfort.
Results can be seen immediately, and will continue to improve due to the ongoing natural collagen production. Results last 12+ months. 1 maintenance treatment required per year.

Aftercare
Following your treatment, you may experience mild swelling, redness, or tenderness, which should subside within a few days. We recommend avoiding strenuous activity, alcohol, and excessive sun exposure for 24–48 hours. Detailed aftercare advice will be provided during your appointment.
