Profhilo
What is Profhilo?
Profhilo is a bio-remodelling treatment commonly referred to as “injectable moisturiser”. It is made of hyaluronic acid which is a molecule found naturally in the body, but its unique structure enables it to stimulate the body’s natural collagen and elastin production. This leads to hydrated, youthful and radiant skin.
How does Profhilo work?
Profhilo bridges the gap between hyaluronic acid fillers and skin boosters. Once injected into specific points on the face, neck, décolletage or body, it disperses and delivers its benefits to a large area. Its unique composition and high content of slow release hyaluronic acid means that your skin is deeply hydrated and will lift and tighten over time.
What is involved?
The area to be treated will be thoroughly cleansed before Profhilo is administered using fine needles. Various techniques will be used by your practitioner to enhance comfort. A 2nd treatment is required 4 weeks later, and for mature skin a 3rd treatment may be delivered a further 4 weeks later.
Results are best seen 30 days after your 2nd treatment, and last approximately 6 months, depending on the individual. Maintenance – 1-2 sessions every 6 months.

Aftercare
Following your treatment, you may experience mild swelling, redness, or tenderness, which should subside within a few days. There may be bumps from the injection which shouldn’t be noticeable after 24 hours. We recommend avoiding strenuous activity, alcohol, and excessive sun exposure for 24–48 hours. Detailed aftercare advice will be provided during your appointment.
